According to Whois records, on April 16 Google registered the domain claimyourcontent.com as well as over a dozen related domains.

  • Google has plans for this service, and announced that already.

    YouTube needs this to go legit. RIght now, they are just mooching off other's content. As Shelly Palmer has pointed out, there is no business for YouTube until they legalize their content.

    I'd be more skeptical about this call if it weren't for the fact that Google purchased the domains the same day it made the announcement. Seems like a lock to me.

    Maybe, just maybe though, they will expand the service to include non-video content. That would be nice.
