It appears they are doing something, my attempts to visit that link were thwarted by the fact that Technorati seems to no longer be indexing that site.

As far as reporting spam to Technorati goes, there's no easy way on their site. Content owners can file DMCA notices and third parties can file notices via their contact page http://www.technorati.com/a... but there is no direct route to lodge of a complaint.

I think they are trying to trust their algorithm to handle such matters, which is sad because it obviously isn't working.

I don't suppose you could do a follow up to this article? I was viewing things on a Technorati RSS feed and stumbled across http://technorati.com/blogs... which basically is all scraped content linked to by other scraped blogs. Is Technorati doing anything about this and is there a way to report a scraper domain to Technorati?

As far as anti-depressants go. I have other vices that get me by. Not much of a drugs or alcohol person, unless we are debating the merits of caffeine.

That's a discussion I always enjoy.

Great post again. Even though I wish we didn't have to write and read about this. Why are people so evil? Why are the good people (read: honest bloggers) taken advantage of? It's really so sad.

So Jonathan, is writing about the subject your way of coping with these problems or do you need some strong anti -depressive medicine as well?

Excellent post! I have had this problem, and have removed my RSS functionality until I have found a solution! Thanks for the links to the WP plugins to help protect content, I shall be using these and will see if this has a impact on the number of people stealing my content.
