We have several vigilante groups that we have filed claims on with www.ic3.gov and the FBI Internet Crimes Unit. I also had one that I was instructed to notify the police as it had a death threat. One of the servers is wanting the DMCA so I imagine sooner or later someone else will want it as well. I very much appreciate all of your information. Now I must get busy!

Sincerely,
Betty Price, Executive Director/Founder
Roar for Freedom

Re: How to Write an Effective DMCA Notice

Avish: Since this involves filing a DMCA notice with a host and not an actual DMCA policy that an OSP would need to create, the repeat infringer element is not necessary generally. If you wanted to add it you could, especially if its the same person ripping you off again and again, but most of the time a person filing a notice will not have an idea if the person is a repeat infringer or not.

Hope that clarifies!

Re: How to Write an Effective DMCA Notice

Thanks a lottt for highly appreciable work by transforming vital knowledge and making the general public enjoy much benefits.

I hope in the near future you'll also come up with something regarding "Repeat Infringer", which is unfortunately missing right now.

Hope to chip in soon.
