Xanga.com: A Plagiarism Nightmare?

Started by Jonathan Bailey · 11 months ago

(Personal note: Before I begin this, I want to make it clear I that I get no satisfaction from making this report and I realize that most users of this site are legitimate. Personally, I hate giving out "villain" ratings to companies as I am loathe to think of anyone could ... Continue reading »

  • Feel free to voice your concerns at invision-graphics.com which has a forum set up for Plagiarism, Content Theft and Copyright Infringement.
  • I recently had a problem with xanga- I found out how you can get a person if your interested.

    Dial the number 1-212-695-4940
When that stupid voice recording guy comes on
pres 3006 That extension will get you a person -hope that helps- FInding your site helped me get the number - and it took me an hour to get an extension that worked *I am a determined woman* so i thought I would help you bakc.
  • Is it possible for all of us victims of Xanga's lethal incompetence to gather together in one place and brainstorm one powerful collective move that would either force them to listen or shut down entirely? What happened to you guys are terrible but what happened (and still happening) to me (since the case is still unresolved) is even worse. Xanga is unique in that it is the only Internet company, in my experience, who is this lame and completely unresponsive to customer complaints. Considering that I am a premium (paying) member. Those emails you received are no guarantee, they are just empty promises meant to idiotize us like a bunch of preschoolers. I believe that a private Anti-Xanga Yahoo group is in order.
  • Have you tried this phone number?
    212.695.4940

And John Hiler (john@xanga.net - dot com if he bother correcting the email address) is the "CEO" of the company.

Xanga has no regard for copyright laws at the moment, they're more concern with covering their own asses with FCC regulations. Which granted, is needed in some sites, but is no excuse for the disregard of paying customers.

I hope you get the issue resolve.
